TA12 alloy is a nearly α-type heat-strength titanium alloy with good comprehensive properties, and its nominal composition is Ti-5. 5Al-4Sn-2Zr-1Mo-0.25Si-1Nd. The long-term working temperature of this alloy can reach 550°C, and it is used for parts such as aero-engine compressor discs, drums and blades.
The alloy has good technological plasticity and superplasticity, is suitable for various pressure forming, and can be machined in various ways. The semi-finished products produced mainly include plates, bars and forgings, which can also be used to produce castings.
